Mardi8 is in charge of the 3D modelling of several emblematic wrecks of the Mediterranean underwater heritage and of the rental of VR broadcasting media. The devices designed on the basis of these virtual reconstructions will be deployed on 5 sites in the Region Sud.

The Région Sud is developing a project, in collaboration with European actors, focused on the development of underwater maritime heritage, in particular through the creation of a cross-border network of underwater activity sites (underwater trails, adjacent diving sites, virtual underwater discovery), mobilising and promoting the know-how of public and private actors in the cooperation area.

The Region is therefore having audiovisual products designed and produced (underwater shots, 3D images, etc.) and acquiring innovative equipment and distribution media. The aim is to enable non-divers to experience underwater exploration "out of the water".

These digital creations will be shown to the public in the different sites from June 2022.
